Lexie & Nick’s Wedding At Goat Hill Park

Most engaged couples start planning their weddings anywhere from 18 months to a year before the wedding date. This is because planning a wedding can be both time consuming, stressful and require a lot of detail work. So needless to say when Lexie reached out to me about photographing her wedding that she was planning basically only 90 days after her engagement I thought she was a little nuts, possibly knocked up, or just madly in love. The answer was the last one. So we rocked their engagement photos in Oceanside as soon as possible, and then what felt like a handful of weeks later I was at their wedding at Goat Hill Park also in Oceanside, California. And I have to say, for a wedding being planned so quickly and a guest count close to 200 people the day went amazingly well. We never fell behind schedule before the wedding, and Nick + Lexie carried a rad relaxed vibe the entire time. Zero stress. And I truly believe they did not have to take any recreational xanax to sustain that positive chi. But in all seriousness, the wedding was fantastic, the couple were simply the best (cue Tina Turner), and there was not a single incident of a goat biting a wedding guest. All in all you would have to say it was one hell of a wedding! Below are some of the photos from Lexie and Nick’s wedding at Goat Hill Park!

Words From The Bride

“Nick and I met on a dating app about 2.5 years ago. I know not super exciting but it was the second date where he brought a picnic to the beach with his DIY #vanlife F350 Clubwagon and an adorable three legged pup named Murphy that made me realize he was someone super special. We got engaged and decided we wanted our wedding to be outside in the fall and didn’t want to wait until next fall. This was why we planned the wedding so quickly. Since everyone is probably thinking it… I will inform you, I AM NOT PREGNANT haha. Planning a wedding so quickly is definitely a little crazy, but thankfully my future mother-in-law got me a “This Is My Wedding Planning” wine glass and Nick has been doing a good job keeping the refills coming which helps!”-Lexie

Congrats Nick and Lexie on a wonderful wedding and what I am sure will be an amazing life together. May you both drive that van to exotic places where Murphy can pee on s0me of the lushest vegetation throughout the lands!
