Lake Arrowhead Wedding Photographer
Wedding photographers in Southern California seriously have it made. I know the popular choice for photographers lately has been the Pacific Northwest scene and I would agree that the PNW is stunning, but nothing tops Southern California when it comes to amazing scenery. And I’m looking at you too Iceland! The reason I’m so enamored with So. Cal is that it offers such an eclectic and diverse amount of scenery. One moment you could be in Los Angeles rocking an urban photoshoot and the next to be hitting up long exposures of the Milky Way galaxy in Joshua Tree. In the morning you could get some surf in and by the afternoon be snowboarding in Big Bear. Oh, and if you want a little R&R why not take your lady to the Temecula wineries and get super drunk in class? We are spoiled here. We really are. The weather here is also not too shabby!
The reason I bring all this up is that my last 3 weddings the past 3 weeks have been at Palm Springs, San Clemente beach and this kick ass wedding in Lake Arrowhead. Three different locations all with something awesome to offer. However, this Lake Arrowhead wedding at Pine Rose was my last wedding of 2015 and truly was a breath of fresh air. The weather was crisp and cold, the mountains provided a gorgeous backdrop and Tom & Angela had the perfect little ceremony attended by those who mattered most to them. This Lake Arrowhead wedding was simple, genuine and totally relaxed. The wedding photography coverage was only three hours on this day but I felt that was more than sufficient for such a small midweek wedding. We did some quick getting ready shots at the Pine Rose cabins and then went right into the wedding ceremony. After some family photos, we took a little drive into a more secluded area of Lake Arrowhead for portraits. We kicked ass, drank beers and below are some of these photos from that day.
Lake Arrowhead Photography Locations
For Tom and Angela’s Lake Arrowhead wedding we spent most of our time at Pine Rose Cabins. However, there are a lot of really rad Lake Arrowhead photography locations for anyone looking for those epic mountain photos. These are some of my favorite Lake Arrowhead photography spots:
- MacKay Park
- Strawberry Peak Fire Lookout Tower
- Heaps Peak Arboretum
- Basically Any Spot You And Your Fiancée Are Having A Good Time
