Mission San Luis Rey Wedding, California
One of the things I remember most about Trevor and Amanda is that during our first Skype conversation I was in a sleeveless Misfits tee shirt drinking a beer in my office and they were at home basically doing the same thing I was. I loved the mellow energy and vibe from Trevor and Amanda from the very start (Also, I should probably get myself a little more fixed up for important meetings with potential wedding clients or I will be living in my Mom’s basement again). We talked about traveling, education, EDC and all sorts of stuff. Of course, we eventually got around to the wedding photography part of the conversation. They told me about Mission San Luis Rey and how the wedding venue had significance to them, and of course how they wanted a low-key reception so the home of Trevor’s parents. These two really embodied that Southern California laid back stereotype and their wedding was one I very much admired. Unfortunately, I did not get to partake in any of the signature cocktails they were serving up at the reception so Amanda and Trevor you guys owe me a drink next time I am down in Oceanside! In all seriousness, the wedding was great, the people were cool and I only hope that I was able to tell the story of their day as genuine as possible.
All wedding photos were captured at Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside, California and at Hotel California AKA Trevor’s parents house. Also, a huge THANK YOU to Marci and Joel for referring Trevor and Amanda to me for their wedding photos! It always means a lot when a couple loved their wedding photos so much they tell their friends about you.
