Palm Springs Aerial Tramway Wedding

When Anna and Owen reached out to me about photographing their Palm Springs wedding in the San Jacinto Mountains at the top of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway I can say with complete honesty I got a little dizzy. Not from thinking about the ridiculous height, but out of pure excitement because I have always loved the Palm Springs tram. At least once a year the wife and I go hiking at the top of the tram and then head down to either the Ace Hotel or the Saguaro for post-hiking cocktails and swimming. Not to mention, when you post photos of yourself hiking in the afternoon on Instagram the photos you post later in the evening where you are totally wasted don’t seem quite so bad. It is all about creating a balanced image. Well I really don’t want to ramble on about my so called life (1990s reference) so I will let you get to the viewing the photos portion of this blog post. Thank you Anna & Owen for allowing me to document the start of something awesome!

All wedding photos were captured at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and of course at the top of the tram in the San Jacinto Mountains. Honestly, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is incredible (unless you hate heights in which case there is a strong likelihood you will poo in your pants on the adventure), and I think everyone should make the trek up there. You can literally go hiking in 60 degree weather, enjoy the fresh mountain air and then 15 minutes later be in Palm Springs at the pool, cocktail in hand, soaking up the 100 degree heat. The change is beyond cool so go grab some tickets online and take your lady up there. Have some drinks at the bar after a hike and take a bunch of photos. Enjoy the view and enjoy life. Cheers!
