Palm Springs Engagement Photos | Rhea & Jairo

One of my favorite places to shoot engagement photos is Palm Springs, California. The reason? Palm Springs Instagram-worthy locations are literally everywhere you look. So needless to say, I was pretty freaking stoked when Rhea and Jairo decided to break away from Los Angeles to have their engagement session in Palm Springs. Throw in the fact that Rhea and Jairo did some pre-game drinking before the photo shoot to pump up the energy, and the end result was us getting a ton of kick ass photos. Oh, and on a side note: I fully recommend a little recreational boozing before, during, and after every photo shoot. Trust me, I’m a professional.

Places To Take Engagement Photos In Palm Springs

During Rhea and Jairo’s Palm Springs engagement session we hit a few of the top photography spots in Palm Springs. First stop was the visitors’ center, where we got some rad photos of the couple in front of the majestic San Jacinto Mountains. Seriously, February and March in the desert are amazing: there’s some greenery, and the mountains are usually snow-capped while temperatures below sit in the 80s. After getting some fun shots of the engaged couple drinking champagne, we headed away from the city to capture some Palm Springs windmill pictures. The windmill spot we chose was rocking during the session, with gusts routinely hitting 50 mph, which made for some epic photos. My favorite photos from the session, though, came from the city, where we got some fun shots near a local mural and at a cool Mexican restaurant.
