Whenever you have an opportunity to photograph a wedding right next to a giant T-Rex dinosaur you jump on it immediately. You simply don’t let awesome s*** like that pass you by….ever. So when Luke started talking to me about his wedding ceremony in Los Angeles at the Natural History Museum and how he and Emily would be getting married right in front of this awesomely magnificent set of T-Rex remains I was sold right there on the spot. Of course, Luke being an artist himself involved in the movie business I was naturally drawn to his creativity as well. He also liked drinking booze, playing with Star Wars toys and engaging in competitive racquetball games, thereby reinforcing the fact we were a perfect fit. The day of Luke and Emily’s wedding started at the Los Angeles Athletic Club where the bride and groom got themselves dolled up. The LAAC was a rad little spot and has been the scene for many awesome episodes of Mad Men from what Luke was telling me earlier in the day before he and his groomsmen started drinking Kentucky whiskey. From the LAAC we transitioned to the wedding at the Natural History Museum where Emily and Luke got married in front of that T-Rex I mentioned earlier. What followed next was hours of drinking, dancing and hard partying. Below are some of the photographs from that Los Angeles wedding.
Cheers to Luke and Emily for an awesome wedding!
