Palm Springs, California

When I first began talking with Barney about his Palm Springs wedding I was in love with the simplicity of his plan. Basically, he wanted me to meet him at the hotel, I would jump in his car, we would drive to the Palm Springs desert for the wedding and then head back to the hotel for drinks. He wanted me to tell them to pull over the car whenever I felt inspired and to just photograph away guerrilla style. As a wedding photographer and more importantly as an artist, there really is nothing you want to hear more than this from the people that you work with. That they fundamentally trust your artistic creation and expression to document their wedding in a genuine way. No shots lists, except at the bar menu when we were deciding what to drink after the wedding. I cannot tell you how warm, out-going and just awesome Barney and Tina were. They were an absolute breath of fresh air in what has been a hectic wedding season. Below is the photo documentation of our 2 hours together and the start of the journey as husband and wife for Barney and Tina. I truly loved spending the day with these two and hope I they enjoy these wedding photos as much as I enjoyed photographing them.

All photographs were taken in the city of Palm Springs located in the Southern California desert. It is a great place to ride quads, drink tequila and get married.
