Ryan & Kari’s Private Palm Springs Wedding

When Kari reached out to me explaining that she and her fiance decided to elope after their families started driving them crazy with their own wedding I instantly laughed out loud! My family is a giant pain in the ass so I could totally relate to the situation and so I definitely wanted to provide a little support to the situation. Especially, after Kari explained that all they really cared about was the wedding ceremony, good food, strong drinks and great photos. Needless to say, Kari had this Palm Springs wedding photographers attention at, “Strong drinks and great photos”! So the couple rented a beautiful Airbnb located in Palm Springs called the West Elm Pool House, invited 8 close friends+family and most importantly their little french bulldog. We snapped some getting ready photos and details before Kari and Ryan did their First Look outside by this really awesome wall mural on the property. After that we rolled right into the wedding ceremony and then out to the desert to capture the gorgeous Palm Springs landscape with the newlyweds. CONGRATS Ryan and Kari surviving a crazy family, traveling to Palm Springs, and having a kick-ass wedding. You guys truly rock! I really enjoyed getting to know you both and photographing you on such a important day in your lives. Oh and THANK YOU for not choosing to get married in Palm Springs during the June-August months when it is 100,000 degrees!
